Gold Coast Runners Events

The club hosts special events each year in addition to our weekly run-walks. The FIRE HERO 5K in September, benefiting the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, takes place on the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk.

The Run Through Central Park 5K is another annual event which winds through the shady streets of Plantation and through the beautiful running path at Central Park, with a dramatic finish on the track.

The Flanigan’s Rockin’ Rib Run 10K is in its 9th year. The race will take place at Miramar Regional Park. This is a brand new totally flat course (no hills) that runs out and back on the streets of Miramar and Pembroke Pines and finishes back inside the park.

We also host club picnics, bowling parties, and other events to be announced.  Members will be notified of special events via email and announcements in the South Florida Running Forum.
